Framingham Wine Company is essentially an estate producer of Aromatic grape varietals. Core Framingham vineyards are either owned and /or managed by the Winery. This affords us the necessary control of grape supply.

Riesling, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Voignier and Pinot Noir
The Framingham Estate Vineyards are the original planting started by Rex and PJ Brooke-Taylor in the early 80’s. The vineyard is the foundation of the Framingham aromatic wines and on which our wineryand tasting room is situated. The soil profile contains a mixture of free draining river stone and alluvial silt. The warm site situated in the centre of the valley, has a low rainfall and relatively low frost risk. This allows us to harvest controlled yields at optimum ripeness.

In addition to this core vineyard site, we purchase grapes for our Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir from key vineyards throughout Marlborough.
